Police are looking for a male and a female who robbed a Newark gas attendant Wednesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the 800 block of Mt. Prospect Avenue shortly before 9:50 a.m for a report of a robbery.
Police described one of the suspects as a light skin Hispanic male last seen wearing a mask, a grey hoodie/sweatshirt and sandals. The second suspect was described only as a Hispanic female according to police.
Officials say the suspects appear to have escaped in a Silver Nissan Quest, driven by the female suspect and heading toward Verona Avenue.
There were no immediate injuries reported.
The suspects reportedly made off with about $30.00.
The robbery is under investigation by Newark Police.
