Passaic County Officials announce that at approximately 7:08 p.m. on Friday, members of the Haledon Police Department were flagged down in the area of Henry Street and Lee Avenue in Haledon by a 41-year-old male Long Branch resident who suffered multiple non-fatal gunshot wounds.
Police say the victim was immediately transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
Based on the initial investigation it is believed the victim was shot in the area of North 8th Street and Belmont Avenue.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
