According to authorities, on Wednesday, November 28th, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at Wurttemberger’s residence during the course of an investigation.
The investigation revealed that Wurttemberger used the Internet to view, possess, and distribute approximately 120 digital files depicting nude or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent minors.
As a result of the investigation, Wurttemberger was charged on Nov. 28th with one count of Possession of Explicit Images of Minors, in an amount greater than 100 but less than 1,000 files, and Distribution of Explicit Images of Minors, in an amount greater than 25 files.
Officials say Wurttemberger was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending an appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on Nov. 29th at 1:30 p.m.
Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
