NJ State Police officials are investigating the cause of a crash that killed a Union County man on the Garden State Parkway in Clark.
According to a statement released by NJ State Police, the violent collision occurred at 1:32 a.m. on the Garden State Parkway northbound milepost 136.6 in Clark Twp.
Officials said a preliminary investigation revealed that a BMW 335XI was traveling northbound when it struck a Nissan Altima.
As a result, NJ State Police said the BMW traveled off the roadway to the right and struck a guardrail and tree.
The driver of the BMW, Mr. Keyshawn Alexander, 24, of Linden, sustained fatal injuries.
The driver and a passenger of the Nissan sustained minor injuries.
NJ State Police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
