City police officers used the anti-opioid medication Narcan to revive a 33-year-old Linden resident found unconscious early this morning in Linden.
Police responded to a Lafayette Street residence at approximately 1:42 a.m. for a report of an overdosed man.
Upon arrival officers found a 33-year-old Linden resident who was found unconscious and unresponsive laying on the floor by his mother.
Officers observed evidence of heroin use in the house and administered Narcan to the individual who later became conscious.
The victim was transported by the Linden Fire Department Ambulance to a local hospital for further medical treatment.
