Linden police have an arrest warrant for Marco E. Zguro, who has addresses in Linden, Roselle, and Elizabeth.
On July 25, 2015, Zguro was attending a family picnic at a residence in Linden when he became involved in a dispute with another person.
During the dispute, witnesses stated that Zguro pulled out a handgun and fired a round at the other person. The intended victim ducked and was not struck by the bullet. Zguro then fled the scene.
An investigation by Detective Kenneth Mikolajczyk resulted in a warrant being issued for aggravated assault and weapons possession charges.
Police have checked several addresses for Zguro with no success. He is believed to be operating either a silver or black Mercedes or a silver Acura.
Police caution that Zguro is considered armed and dangerous and not to approach him.
