Linden Police Seek Driver Accused of Hit-and-Run Love-Triangle

Linden New Jersey

Linden Police are asking for the public's help in finding Kilroy Jimenez-Pinales, who according to police deliberately struck a 26-year-old Perth Amboy man, in what is being described as a love triangle.

The incident occurred on January 28, at approximately 11:52 p.m. on Essex Avenue in Linden, Captain James Sarnicki said.

The victim was knocked over by the vehicle and was treated for bruises and abrasions to his shoulder, leg and hands, he added.

The victim told police that he was visiting his girlfriend when a green 1995 Toyota Camry - with NJ X61DXW - appeared on the street, revved the vehicle's engine before driving towards him and striking him.

A three-week investigation, by Investigator Michael Richmond of the Traffic Bureau, revealed that Jimenez-Pinales was behind the wheel.

An arrest warrant was issued charging him with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon (car) for an unlawful purpose, Sarnicki said.

Officers checked Jimenez-Pinales' last listed addresses in Rahway and Hillside but he has not been located.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Investigator Richmond at 908-474-8505 or via email atcrimetips@lpdnj.org.
