Police have released a surveillance photo in hopes of identifying male who allegedly robbed a Linden business.
Officers were dispatched to the Linden Stationery store, located at 638 W. St. George Avenue, Tuesday around 6:10 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, police met with the clerk, a 53-year-old man, who told police that the suspect entered the store and wandered around for several minutes before approaching him, pulling a handgun from his waistband, and ordering him to open the cash register.
The suspect then walked behind the counter and scooped an unknown amount of cash from the register before fleeing out the front door.
The victim told officers the suspect was a dark-skinned male, late teens to early 20’s, who was wearing a woodland camouflage hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
