Linden Police Investigate Armed Robbery

Police in Linden are investigating an early morning armed robbery.

 

Police responded to the 1100 block of Roselle Street at approximately 3 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery,  Captain James Sarnicki said.

 

The victim, a 48-year-old Linden man, told police he was sitting down when he was approached by two men who pulled out a handgun and demanded his nap sack, which contained a laptop computer and cell phone. 

 

The victim complied and both men fled on foot west on Union Street, said Sarnicki.

 

The suspects were described as two black males in their 20's with hooded sweatshirts pulled tightly around their faces. 

 

Officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
