The Linden Police Department is proud to celebrate the graduation of their first Youth Academy class.
The program, comprised of 24 cadets in grades 6-8, was conducted from July 23-27. The Cadets received physical fitness training and instruction in drill and ceremony daily, and hands-on demonstrations.
The July 27th ceremony will showcase the accomplishments of the cadets over the week long program, and will feature prepared remarks from Linden Police Chief David Hart and Linden Mayor Derek Armstead.
Officials say each cadet will be presented a certificate commemorating their participation in front of family and friends.
Linden students can attend the Academy free of charge, but space is limited.
