Linden police are looking for two men who they say robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint early this morning.
Officers responded to the 7-Eleven store, located at 1832 E. St George Avenue, for a report of a robbery shortly before 2 a.m.
Arriving officers spoke with two store clerks - both females, ages 23 and 49 - who told them a man entered the store brandishing a handgun and told everyone to get on the floor. Immediately after, a second man entered the store and went behind the counter taking an undetermined amount of cash from the registers.
The men then fled south on Alexander Avenue.
The first man is described as dark-skinned, 6’3”, husky build, wearing a blue hooded-sweatshirt and was last seen wearing a black ski mask.
The second man is described as dark-skinned, 5’6”, thin build, who was last seen wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask.
There were no injuries reported.
