Bergen County Firefighters responded to a weather-related incident where a house was struck in Dumont on Tuesday night.
Crews responded to reports of a working fire at 73 Juniper Street at approximately 10:10 p.m.
Crews arrived at the scene and found smoke coming from the roof of a large single family wood framed house according to fire officials.
Firefighters entered the residence and located fire in the attic and quickly knocked down the blaze during heavy rain and lightning.
A search of the residence did not indicate any trapped on injured occupants.
Tenafly and Cresskill Fire Department provided mutual aid assistance.
