A shooting near a city park has police on the scene investigating.
Police were called to the Pennypacker Park shortly before 10 p.m. where they arrived to find one person shot and critically injured.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for a black SUV that fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
