A violent crash that occurred overnight in Linden caused serious injuries on Rt. 1&9 in Linden.
The crash happened at around midnight in the 1000 block of the southbound lanes of the highway where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports of an accident with injuries.
Arriving rescue crews found two motorcycles at the scene with one of the bikes mangled. One person suffered severe injuries at that location.
The extent of the unidentified victim's injuries were only reported as "grave." One other person suffered non-fatal injuries during the crash.
It is not immediately clear what the motorcycles crashed into, but there was a vehicle taking up the middle and the right lanes during the investigation
