A shooting that left a with "life-threatening" injuries in under investigation by Somerset County authorities.
Police rushed to the scene of shots fired tat rang out in the 30's block of Church Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday evening.
Units arrived to the scene to find the adult male victim suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen according to preliminary reports.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital where we could only confirm life-threatening injuries.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
Police have not reported an arrest.
