Hudson County officials are reporting severe injuries for a person who was struck by bullets on a street in a section of Jersey City Wednesday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out near 102 Martin Luther King Drive around 7:55 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene and found a severely injured male suffering bullet wounds at that location.
According to officials, the unidentified victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center and immediately admitted to surgery.
Police say there were no arrests and the motive for the shooting is under investigation.
