There are life threatening injuries retired for a person struck by a vehicle in Newark a short time ago.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital after the victim was struck by the vehicle near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Springfield Avenue at around 8:30 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived to the scene to find the victim unconscious at that location and performed several life saving techniques according to reports.
The identity of the victim has not been released at this time.
