A serious accident late Saturday night has left a motorcyclist in critical condition, initiating an investigation by Trenton police.
The crash occurred shortly before 11:50 p.m. on Route 1 South near Perry Street.
Preliminary reports indicated that emergency responders arrived at the scene to find a motorcycle crashed and the rider ejected from the bike.
The victim was quickly transported to a regional medical center for urgent treatment and remains in critical condition.
Reports say no other injuries were reported in the incident. The area was secured as police began their investigation into the cause of the wreck, which remains ongoing.
Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has any relevant information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
