A shooting late Saturday night in Trenton has resulted in one person being injured. Trenton Police responded to reports of gunfire around 11:10 p.m. near 36 Trent Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a bullet wound to his back.
He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, though the full extent of his condition remains unknown at this time.
The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation, and the suspect responsible for the incident fled the scene and is currently at large.
Trenton Police are actively handling the investigation and are seeking any information that could lead to the suspect's apprehension.
