Shootings that sent several people to the hospital in Irvington has authorities investigating.
Gunfire rang out in the area of Clinton Avenue and Ball Street (Ball Motel) a little before 11 p.m. sending police to the scene where officers located two people struck by gunfire according to reports.
The victims were rushed to University Hospital in Newark where their injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
A search of the area had police locate at least one other victim in the area of Clinton Avenue and North Maple Avenue reportedly suffering a non-life threatening gunshot injury to the leg.
Police set up a crime scene at both locations where they collected evidence and attempted to determine a motive for the shootings.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
