Morris County authorities announce that a jury has found Vinicio Orellana, age 45, of Landing, guilty on all charges related to sexual contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child on September 27, 2020, in Flanders.
According to officials, the jury returned a guilty verdict on February 16, following a three-day trial.
Officials say the defendant was found guilty of three counts of fourth-degree Criminal Sexual Contact and one count of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
A sentencing date is currently scheduled for March 24.
According to authorities, the charges arose from an incident that occurred on September 27, 2020, in Mount Olive Township.
The defendant touched a 16-year-old female victim on her intimate parts.
The incident was reported to the Mount Olive Police Department on September 27, 2020.
