Ocean County Police are seeking the public's assistance with a fatal hit and run involving a pick-up truck and a bicyclist that occurred at approximately 8:12 pm on Thursday, September 1st, at the the intersection of Route 70 and New Hampshire Ave. in Lakewood Township.
According to Ocean County officials, police are seeking assistance in locating a full-size, four-door 'Pepsi Blue' pick-up truck with possible front and driver's side headlamp damage.
Police say the vehicle was last seen traveling west on Route 70 toward Manchester Township and is believed to be involved in the fatal hit and run of a Hispanic male that was riding his bicycle westbound on Route 70 on the south shoulder of the roadway.
