A shots fired incident that occurred in Aberdeen/Keyport had police in the scene investigating overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Maldren, and Sherwood drives at around 11:30 p.m. after they received reports of shots fired.
Upon officer's arrival, they found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no seriously injured victims were located.
Witnesses reported to police that two male suspects were observed running through the yards immediately after the shooting.
Police were able to catch then detain at least one of the men.
There were no official charges released as detectives are actively investigating the motive behind the shooting.
