Police in Newark are on the search for several juveniles wanted for a hit-and-run crash that occurred on the north side of the city Thursday evening.
According to reports, just before 11:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the vicinity of Sussex Avenue and Norfolk Street to investigate reports of a crash.
Units arrived at the scene and found a U-Haul slammed into a vehicle and damaged at least one other parked car at that location.
Police say there were no severe injuries reported.
According to witnesses, juveniles bailed from the vehicle immediately after the crash and fled the scene on foot.
The suspects fled the scene and remained at large.
