NEWARK NJ: Reports of an armed robbery that happened in the area of Quitman Street and Muhammad Ali Ave. has police searching for three suspects who were last seen fleeing the area on bicycles.
The suspects reportedly pointed a weapon at a female victim then took her purse at around 11:40 a.m.
The suspects are being reported as juveniles.
Police recovered the purse a short time later in the area.
There were no injuries reported
