Several individuals fled from a vehicle believed to be stolen, prompting a brief pursuit by law enforcement early Tuesday morning in the South Ward. The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. near the intersection of West Runyon Street and Badger Avenue.
According to police reports, the driver of a red Hyundai, suspected to be stolen, crashed the vehicle near the intersection before abandoning it and fleeing on foot.
Officers engaged in the pursuit, which led to the apprehension of one juvenile suspect. However, two other individuals managed to evade capture and remain at large.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stolen vehicle and the subsequent pursuit, aiming to apprehend the remaining suspects involved.
