Police have a crime scene established in a section of Newark’s Central Ward as detectives investigate a shooting with two victims injured at this time.
According to police, at around 7:40 p.m., police responded to the area of Eagles Parkway and Lincoln Street to investigate reports of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police found a juvenile suffering bullet wounds at that location.
While EMS prepared the teen for transport to the hospital, officials at University Hospital reported an adult walk-in gunshot victim.
Both victims are said to be in stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
