The jury in the murder trial of Michelle Lodzinski has reached a guilty verdict.
Michelle Lodzinski, 47, ensued a nationwide search for 5-year-old Tomithy Wiltsey who was reported missing from a carnival on May 25, 1991 in Sayreville.
Almost a year later, his remains were found in a remote section of the Raritan Center Industrial Park in Edison, according to the prosecutor’s office.
In 2014, Lodzinski was arrested in Jensen Beach Florida and charged with murder after investigators reopened the case.
According to prosecutors, the boy was never at the carnival and Lodzinski killed him elsewhere.
Shortly after 10:30 this morning, Lodzinski was found guilty of murder in the desth of her 5-year-old son in 1991.
