A 51-year-old Jersey City youth boxing coach accused of abusing three minors was taken into custody Tuesday.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Ray Worrall, Jimmie Baxley, has been charged with several counts of sexual assault, including aggravated sexual assault.
Officials say Baxley was arrested Tuesday at the HCPO offices in the Hudson County Administration Building in Jersey City and was remanded to the Hudson County jail in Kearny.
A detention hearing is scheduled for Tuesday before Hudson County Superior Court Judge Paul Depascale.
