A late night stabbing that sent one person to the hospital is under investigation by Jersey City.
It happened in the vicinity of 191 Academy Street at approximately 10:35 p.m. where police were notified of an injured person at that location.
Units arriving at the scene found an adult male suffering a non-life threatening stab injury to the upper torso according to preliminary reports.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated the injury.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation. There were no arrests reported
