Sunday night in Jersey City ended in violence with a stabbing incident that left one person injured.
Police were called to the scene of a physical altercation near South Street and Palisade Avenue just before 9 p.m. Upon arrival, they found an unidentified male suffering from a stab wound.
In a swift response, the victim was able to identify his assailant to the officers at the scene.
This led to the immediate apprehension and charging of the suspect with aggravated assault. The victim was promptly transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he received treatment for a stab wound to his arm.
Fortunately, he is expected to recover from his injuries.
The motive behind this violent attack is currently under investigation by the police.
