Jersey City Police are investigating a stabbing incident that sent one person to the hospital suffering serious injuries on Sunday morning.
It happened at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the teens block of Van Nostrand Avenue where police received reports of a person suffering stab wounds at that location.
Police an EMS arrived at the scene and found the victim bleeding from the head after being attacked by an unknown assailant according to preliminary reports.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated the patient's injuries.
There were no reports of arrests at this time.
