Jersey City Police have initiated an investigation following a shooting incident on Saturday night, which resulted in the victim self-transporting to Christ Hospital.
At approximately 10 p.m., hospital officials alerted local authorities after a male arrived at the emergency department with a bullet wound.
Upon their arrival at the medical center, officers were directed to investigate the area around Dickinson High School.
It remains unconfirmed whether the crime scene was located near the high school. The victim is currently in stable condition.
The motive behind the shooting is still under active investigation, with no arrests reported at this time.
