Police said there were no injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred on a street in Jersey City Saturday evening.
According to police, gunfire rang out in the 90’s block of Fremont Street at approximately 5:50 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found evidence that a shooting occurred but after searching the area, no victims were found.
Officers collected about a half dozen shell casings while canvassing the area.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
No arrests reported.
