Authorities in Jersey City are on the search for a suspect involved in two separate armed robberies that occurred Sunday evening.According to reports, the suspect, described as a short, light-skinned Black male wearing a mask, brandished a gun and robbed individuals of personal belongings.
The first incident took place shortly before 9:15 p.m. in the 200 block of Columbia Avenue, where the suspect robbed a person at gunpoint.
Police believe the same individual committed another robbery in the vicinity of North Street and Terrace Avenue shortly thereafter.
After the robberies, the suspect reportedly fled the scene in a white Acura with white rims.
Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported in either of the incidents.
However, the suspect remains at large and Jersey City Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to help in the ongoing investigation.
