The Jersey City Police Department is investigating a reported armed robbery where a suspect took a moped from a woman on Sunday night.
The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Paterson Plank Road.
Police were dispatched to the address to investigate reports of an armed carjacking in progress.
Upon arrival, they found the victim, who reported that two suspects, a white male and a black male, approached her and took her moped at gunpoint.
The moped has a New York registration, and the suspects fled the scene and remain at large.
Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported in the incident.
The Jersey City Police Department continues investigating the case and urges anyone with information to come forward.
