Jersey City Police are investigating a violent stabbing incident that occurred overnight, leaving a 29-year-old man severely injured.
Authorities responded to emergency 911 calls around midnight, which reported an injured man in the 50s block of Stuyvesant Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim with multiple stab wounds.
He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. Details about his condition have not been disclosed, but the injuries were serious enough to require immediate medical attention.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are still unclear, and detectives are working to figure out the motive behind the attack.
