Authorities in Jersey City are investigating a double overnight stabbing that took place in the city.
Police responded to reports of an assault in progress in the area of Ocean Ave. and Linden Ave. at around 12:30 a.m. Upon arrival, police found a male (reported to be in his late 20's) violently stabbed in the upper back and bleeding heavily. The man was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center in very serious condition.
A search of the area had authorities locating a second victim suffering a non-life threatening stab wound in the 200 block of Linden Ave.
A full investigation is underway by Jersey City Police.
