Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Monday morning in the area of 451 Communipaw Avenue.
According to police, officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 12:22 a.m. following multiple reports of a robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim, who reported that a male suspect had approached, brandished a firearm, and demanded his belongings.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene after taking the victim’s watch—valued at over $10,000—and other personal possessions.
No physical injuries were reported in the incident, police said.
The suspect remains at large, and investigators are working to identify and locate the individual.
Jersey City Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward as the investigation continues.
