Police in Jersey City arrested an armed man after a pursuit through a city neighborhood Thursday night.
Officers were investigating reports of a person with a gun attempting to stop a man who fit the description of the armed person.
The suspect fled the area on foot down Fulton Avenue, where cops managed to apprehend him near 172 without further incident.
During the arrest, police recovered a weapon in the rear yard near 172-178 Fulton Avenue.
No serious injuries were reported.
