Authorities are looking into the cause of a crash that injured a police officer and civilian in Kearny on Thursday night.
Emergency responders rushed to NJ-7 just past the Witt Penn Bridge around 11:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found that a police car and a civilian vehicle had collided at that location.
The officer suffered minor burns and complained of pain in his arm. Reports say the civilian sustained a leg injury.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
