Jersey City MVC Announces Delayed Opening After Vehicle Crashes Into Building

The Division of Motor Vehicle Services (MVC) in Jersey City has announced a delayed opening on Monday following a vehicle crash into their building, raising concerns about structural damage.supportThe incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Sunday at 438 Summit Avenue, where emergency responders were dispatched to investigate the crash.

Upon arrival, officials found a single vehicle had crashed into the building, shattering windows and causing damage.

Fortunately, no one on the ground was injured, and no serious injuries were immediately reported in the collision.

In response to the incident, the New Jersey MVC tweeted,

"Jersey City Vehicle Center will have a delayed opening until 10:00 AM on Monday, October 28 due to a motor vehicle crashing into a portion of the building. Structural engineers will confirm safety prior to opening."

The MVC also assured customers with canceled appointments that they would be offered a courtesy return pass.

The cause of the crash is currently under active investigation.support
