Authorities today confirmed that the victim of a violent Jersey City shooting last month, died earlier today.
According to police, on Nov. 27, Officers responded to Clerk Street where they found Rashay Washington who had been shot 19 times.
However, after being in critical condition at Jersey City Medical Center since the shooting, Washington died sometime around 11 a.m. today, added officials.
Two men - later identified as Arron Enix and Davon Cooper, both 23 - were taken into custody shortly after the shooting.
They were both initially charged with attempted murder. According to city spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill, charges have not yet been upgraded.
