A Jersey City man was sentenced today to 108 months in prison for receipt of explicit images of minors, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.
According to U.S. Attorney Sellinger, Benigno Gonzalez-Mendoza, 37, of Jersey City, previously pleaded guilty to an information charging him with one count of receipt of explicit images of minors. Judge Wigenton imposed the sentence today by videoconference.

From March 9, 2019, through July 27, 2019, Gonzalez-Mendoza knowingly received explicit images and videos of minors, including videos of adults abusing minors.
