A Jersey City man has been charged in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman and her two young children in an apartment on Hutton Avenue, according to a statement released by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.

Authorities responded to the residence shortly after midnight on January 30, where they discovered three victims with stab wounds.

Luisa Urbano, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her two children, 9-year-old Juan Martin Urbano and 5-year-old Diana Ramirez, were rushed to Jersey City Medical Center, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

A fourth individual, identified as 31-year-old Napoleon Romero-Anduray, was also found injured inside the apartment and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

He has since been charged with three counts of murder, as well as multiple weapons offenses.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Unit, in coordination with the Jersey City Police Department, is actively investigating the case.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the prosecutor’s office or submit an anonymous tip through the official website.
