Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that on Monday, February 28, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit arrested a 64-year-old Jersey City man on charges he explicitly assaulted his 17-year-old stepdaughter.
According to Prosecutor Suarez, the crime occurred on Sunday, February 20, inside of a Jersey City residence.
Prosecutor Suarez said that the name of the defendant is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
He is charged with Explicit Assault and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
