Authorities in Hudson County announced that on Thursday, January 25, 2024, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Nestor Moreno, 28, for an explicit crime involving a juvenile girl.
Officials said the crimes occurred on multiple occasions in Jersey City in 2019 when the victim was nine years old.
The victim is known to the defendant, according to officials.
Officials stated that Moreno, of Jersey City, is charged with Explicit Contact and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance, officials say.
