A Jersey City man is facing criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child charges after he was accused of molesting his 15-year-old daughter.
The man - whose name is being omitted to protect the identity of the alleged victim - was charged with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
The victim told police that her father got into her bed, rubbed his body against her and "he continued by touching her..." the complaint says.
The man was ultimately charged based on the victim's videotaped statement and text messages she sent her mother and a friend about the alleged incident.
During the man's initial court appearance via video ink from Hudson County jail Wednesday,
he was ordered released with conditions of supervision pending prosecution.
The defendant is schedule to appear before Hudson County Superior Court Judge Paul DePascale on July 19.
