Police in Jersey City are investigating a residential burglary where suspects took a safe that reportedly contained thousands of dollars in cash.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the 90's block of Grant Avenue to investigate a burglary at around 8:20 p.m.
Units arrived and were told by residents that suspects broke into a first-floor apartment and stole a safe that contained over $15,000 according to reports.
Officials have launched an investigation where tey began checking surveillance video in the area.
