One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $78,219 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Friday, April 21 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 01, 10, 14, 21 and 42 and the XTRA number was: 02.
The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is 7-Eleven #11027 (S), 2075 Route 88, Brick in Ocean County.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at 7- Eleven #11027 (S). The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
Executive Director Carole Hedinger announced that there were 268,103 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 38 ticketholders won $529 each and 12 others won $1,058 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 1,641 ticketholders won $15 each and 265 others won $30 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly, 3,226 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
